It was in 2009 ECCWA hosted the First Conference of Refugee and Migrant Women in Australia in collaboration with Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia. Five years on, this conference is once again an opportunity to reflect back, engage and discuss issues relevant to the migrant and refugee women in Australia .
